The whole stack, one head
Interface, API, database and deploy — no handover gaps and no waiting on someone else to unblock the feature.
About me
I work across the whole stack: interface architecture, APIs, data modelling and the deployment that ties them together. Seven years of shipping dashboards, storefronts and internal tools for teams that needed them working yesterday.
My story
I'm a full-stack product engineer based in Dhaka. I like the unglamorous part of the job: turning a half-formed idea into something people can actually use, and then making it fast.
Most of my time goes into React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front, with Node.js, NestJS and MongoDB or PostgreSQL behind them. I care about the parts users feel — pages that don't jump while they load, forms that explain themselves, tables that stay usable at ten thousand rows.
I started out writing WordPress themes for local shops, which taught me more about deadlines than about code. From there I joined Nordhaven Studio as a frontend developer, moved to Bayleaf Commerce to work on a storefront doing real volume, and I now lead the web team at Cobalt Labs, where we build operations software for restaurants and clinics.
I write up the problems that cost me a day, so they cost you an hour. I mentor two junior developers through a local meetup, and I keep one side project running — a budgeting app my family actually uses, which is the strictest code review there is.
Teams I've built with
Interface, API, database and deploy — no handover gaps and no waiting on someone else to unblock the feature.
Budgeted bundles, stable layouts and Core Web Vitals checked on a mid-range Android, not a laptop on fibre.
Typed, documented and tested, so the next developer can read it without ringing me.

Words from founders, product managers and the developers who inherited the code.
“Rofiq is the engineer I hand the ambiguous brief to. He comes back with the three questions nobody thought to ask, then builds the version we actually needed. The POS dashboard took order entry from 48 seconds to 19 and our support queue has never recovered — in the good way.”
“We had ten weeks and an investor milestone. Rofiq scoped it down to what would actually ship, told us plainly which features to drop, and we were taking live orders in week ten. The honesty about scope was worth as much as the code.”
“Our storefront went from 4.6 seconds to just over one on mobile, and conversion followed. What impressed me more was the handover: the performance budget is now a CI check, so it stayed fixed after he left.”
“Most of our patients are over seventy. Rofiq insisted on testing the booking flow with a screen reader and with two of our actual patients before launch. Sixty-one percent of bookings are online now and reception can finally answer the phone.”
“I inherited two of Rofiq's codebases. Both had a README that was true, tests that ran first try, and comments only where the code genuinely needed explaining. That is rarer than it should be.”
“Organic traffic to our course pages is up three and a half times. Rofiq explained the structured-data work in terms our marketing lead could follow, which is why it got prioritised at all.”
