Experience

  1. Lead Web Engineer · Cobalt Labs

    Aug 2024 - Present

    Dhaka, Bangladesh (Hybrid)

Lead the web team of five building operations software for restaurants and clinics. Own the front-end architecture, the release process and the hiring bar.

    • Shipped the Cobalt POS dashboard now used daily by 180 restaurants
    • Cut the median deploy from 40 minutes of manual checks to a 7-minute pipeline
    • Introduced a shared component library that removed roughly 11,000 lines of duplicated UI code
    • Mentored two juniors to mid-level; both still on the team
  2. Frontend Engineer · Bayleaf Commerce

    Jan 2023 - Jul 2024

    Remote (United Arab Emirates)

Rebuilt a speciality grocery storefront as a headless Next.js front end and owned its performance budget through two peak seasons.

    • Took mobile LCP from 4.6 s to 1.1 s and Lighthouse performance from 34 to 97
    • Raised mobile checkout completion by 22% over one quarter
    • Built the editor tooling that let the content team publish categories without a developer
    • Kept the site up through two Ramadan peaks at roughly 9× normal traffic
  3. Frontend Developer · Nordhaven Studio

    Apr 2021 - Dec 2022

    Dhaka, Bangladesh

Agency work: marketing sites, dashboards and client portals for a rotating set of projects, usually two running at once.

    • Delivered 20+ client projects, from one-page sites to multi-tenant dashboards
    • Set up the studio's component starter, cutting new-project setup from two days to two hours
    • Ran the accessibility review that became a standard line item on every quote
  4. Freelance Web Developer · Self-employed

    Apr 2019 - Mar 2021

    Remote

WordPress themes, landing pages and small booking systems for local businesses while finishing my degree. Learned to scope, quote and say no.

    • Shipped 30+ small projects for local shops, clinics and schools
    • Moved from hourly to fixed-scope pricing after the third project that grew sideways
    • Kept four of those clients for over three years
